The Gusting Wind
- Antarika Sengupta

The wind cannot be felt when it is at rest,
The wind's presence is not acknowledged,
When the wind is angered, it creates a mess,
Where one blow is determined and swift,
The wind gains momentum gradually,
And then it has accomplished—
To see who is weak and who is strong,
The wind will blow hard and heavily,
To have the chilly weather prolonged,
To rustle the lazy and stray leaves,
To prove to people going in different directions is not wrong,
The wind does not do anything to deceive,
It will slowly and gradually grow stronger,
And show its strength in motion,
How staying at one place will not have success approaching,
The wind will bring along rain,
The wind will cause thunder and lightning,
The wind will form calmly and leave devastatingly,
To leave a candle's fire flickering,
To leave nature's trees rustling,
To hear the alarming rushes of hustling,
And then the wind will flow through your lungs,
And tingle your skin,
The wind will leave remnants of oxygen,
For you to breathe and remember what you feel when you sense the wind—
The exciting and dangerous adrenaline.
